The Ensemble at the California Institute of the Arts presents the world premiere of 'People Talk,' a new piece for chamber or symphony orchestra, by Eris DeJarnett. Hall. 'People Talk' is part of Letters from the Aftermath, a larger body of work exploring sexual assault and rape culture.
This performance features Leila Jay (narration) and the following Ensemble members: Rachel Hacker, Enrique Conde, Michael Salas, Evan Wendell, Mattie Barbier, John Pisaro, Björn Gustafsson, Darren Dvoracek, Tal Katz, and Armando Wood. The Ensemble is conducted by Nicholas Deyoe.
